We had such fun on Thursday in our first kids' class! The girls mixed colors to their hearts' content. First, we did color wheels where we learned about primary colors and used those to mix secondary colors.
Then, we started painting our journal pages. We used recycled materials to make textures and stamp shapes. We also used papers to make borders on our pages. Several of the girls really thought "outside the box" when thinking about what how they wanted to decorate their journals. I'm super excited about this group. They are all wonderfully creative and just a joy to be around.
We missed getting some of the kids in the pictures because we were having so much fun! :) I apologize and I'll make sure to get everyone up on the blog this next week.
Take-Home: Be sure to bring your journal in its journalbag back this next week along with magazine images that you really like. We also need a forward-facing photograph of yourself so that we can work on self-portraits.
